A bit of atmosphere.....

Most of my Marrakech images have been set in glorious sunshine or sunsets etc. But speaking from experience, Marrakech does experience clouds and rain. I wanted to create an atmospheric scene and found a cracking sky online, which I later exaggerated to create this quite dramatic scene.The base render was really simple which I produced with a trial version of VRAY for Sketchup. I'm still learning how to get better quality base renders and still rely heavily on Photoshop. I created the detail through overlays and exaggerated the shadows in photoshop.The original model was produced with Rhino Grasshopper in order to generate the catenary parametric vaults.
